Targeted supplementary feeding in Qandala<\/h2>

TSS implemented the Targeted Supplementary Feeding Programme (TSFP) through community-based final distribution points across Qandala District. The programme supported children aged 6\u201359 months affected by moderate acute malnutrition, together with pregnant and lactating women, and maintained site-level records for admissions, exits, caseloads and supplementary-food movements.<\/p>

Documented partnership:<\/strong> Signed agreements CP\/TSS\/190\/TSFP\/2013 and CP\/TSS\/191\/TSFP\/2013 identify TSS as WFP\u2019s cooperating partner in Qandala under PRRO 200443. Monthly WFP-format reports identify the WFP Bosaso Sub-office as the responsible field office.<\/div><\/section>

Formal WFP partnership<\/h2>

Two signed Field Level Agreements dated April 2013 document TSS\u2019s role in reception, handling, community distribution, beneficiary monitoring and reporting for WFP-supported targeted supplementary feeding in Qandala.<\/p>

Agreement CP\/TSS\/190\/TSFP\/2013 planned support for up to 1,817 recipients: 1,571 children under five, 231 pregnant and lactating women, and 15 community-nutrition-worker-supported households.<\/p><\/article>

Standby family TSFP<\/h3>

Agreement CP\/TSS\/191\/TSFP\/2013 established a standby response for seasonal food insecurity, with a planning target of up to 1,802 recipients in Qandala and activation subject to WFP notification.<\/p><\/article><\/div>
