1. BACKGROUND

We star card Top up planned 11 villages located in Qandala District, Bari region namely Buruc, Xamure, Tuulo-ciise ,Balidhidin, Beel-wacatay, Ceel-gaal, Xarago, Canjeel, Xijiijle, Turmasaale, Unuun at 13 July 2017,

As a team from TSS left Bosaso on 13^nd July 2017 and headed to the above villages located in kandala District, Bari region and our aim was Top up and beneficiary’s sensitization during Top up.

 

1. CHALLENGES:

We receive 2 MPOS new machines and other 1 old one we take from WFP 1 of the MPOS machine was not working,

Missing cards and no voucher found was few challenges we faced.

1. LESSON LEARNT

There are so many lessons we learnt throughout this process and some of them are:

We learnt that next exercise while registering the participants we need to be very keen and careful that we don’t repeat the same mistakes to avoid more errors in future.

We also to be patient throughout the whole exercise since we had a lot of participants with different individual differences with different personalities some rude and some polite and in order to accomplish this task well we had to be patient in order to do the right thing.

We also learnt that before we do or carryout any project in future related to the same, we need to first of all establish the exact number of the participants so that we do not have more participants than what we should prepare for in other words we need to prepare in advance to avoid similar instances.

 

 

1. RECOMMENDATIONS

 

 

Many venerable communities which effect drought were come to distributions card centres and they need food assistant we mobilize that we shall beggar WFP, other related donor and government to give assistant.
